Mikhail Labkovsky is a psychologist with more than forty years of experience, the author of books and the unique “6 Rules” methodology, which has changed the lives of tens of thousands of people around the world for the better. Forbes magazine named Mikhail the most recognizable psychologist in Russia. Labkovsky’s first book, “I Want and I Will,” is the best-selling book in the history of Russian non-fiction. It contains practical advice on how to change your life for the better, get rid of anxiety, become happy and always do what you want.

Thanks to his broadcasts on radio and television, as well as public consultations, Mikhail Labkovsky popularized the idea of ​​psychology, made it accessible and accessible to every home.

In pre-quarantine times, Labkovsky’s public consultations (a unique format invented by him personally) gathered thousands of halls in Russia and Israel, the Baltic countries and Great Britain, as well as other countries of the world, and then moved online with no less success.

Biography

In his youth, Mikhail tried himself in various fields, until he finally entered the psychology department in the hope of solving his own problems. I decided - and now I help others with this.

He was a teacher and school psychologist, including at the famous school about which Sergei Solovyov made the film “Tender Age”. Lived, studied and worked in Israel, received a second degree in psychology there. In Jerusalem, he acted as a mediator in negotiations between spouses who were divorcing and “dividing” children and property (specialty - Family Mediation Service). At the Jerusalem mayor's office he was a psychologist in the service for working with difficult teenagers. In addition, he worked as a private psychologist.

In Moscow, he runs his own consultation, conducts public consultations, face-to-face and online, and educational programs. He performed in “Rules of Life” on the “Culture” TV channel and on the “Silver Rain” radio, and for many years in a row hosted the “Adults about Adults” program on the “Echo of Moscow” radio station.


Labkovsky method

Mikhail speaks to his audience in a clear language, explaining complex things in simple words, without frightening with psychological terms and “diagnoses”.

He analyzes not the specific episode for which the person sought help, but the entire problem, and helps solve it - so that it does not arise again. And you don’t have to spend years of your life on this.

The author’s technique based on cognitive behavioral therapy allows Mikhail to give the client an effective tool, instructions on how to move on with life – and live happily.


6 rules of Labkovsky:

1. Do only what you want.

2. Don't do what you don't want to do.

3. Talk about what you don’t like right away.

4. Don't answer when not asked.

5. Answer only the question.

6. When sorting out relationships, talk only about yourself.

Armed with this tool (six rules), a person sets off on a free voyage. And, if you conscientiously follow the rules, after 2 weeks you begin to feel positive changes in your life.
